The Zrii Phenomenon: 5,000 Years Of Ayurvedic Principles

Like many forms of alternative healing, Ayurvedic medicine has recently found a receptive audience in the United States. Author and physician Deepak Chopra popularized many Ayurvedic concepts through his best-selling books, and celebrities such as Ralph Fiennes and Cher have reportedly consulted with Ayurvedic practitioners. Former supermodel Christy Turlington has a skin-care line based on the tradition’s practices.

Although there is little in the way of evidence from Western science to endorse Ayurvedic approaches, practitioners say it would not have survived so many centuries unless it was grounded in timeless truths about the workings of the body and human nature.

Ayurvedic medicine shares similarities with traditional Chinese medicine - both are types of “energy medicine” which teach that the key to good health is a proper balance of energy within the body. They also correlate many human traits to natural elements such as fire, earth, water and air.

Central to Ayurvedic medicine is the concept that there are three governing forces at work inside the body, called doshas. Each corresponds to elements found in nature, and each is present in all of us to varying degrees.

It is when our doshas get out of balance that trouble strikes, and Ayurvedic medicine then uses various means, including diet, behavior changes and body treatments, to pacify an overexpressed dosha.

Review Of Zrii

My review of Zrii health drink: If you haven’t heard already, a new company is causing a lot of buzz in the network marketing industry. Zrii is the company and the name of a health juice that is whole heartedly endorsed by the Chopra Center.

Of course, with so many health drinks on the market I wanted to assess what differentiated Zrii from the rest of them. The first thing that caught my attention is the bottle it comes in. I must admit that just the bottle alone attracts a person to the juice.

Every Zrii bottle has the Chopra Center endorsement prominently displayed which commands the immediate respect of this reviewer.

The Zrii amalaki juice itself is a bold red color and as you pour it into your glass you can see how hearty the drink is from all the herbs and seeds that stick to the side of the glass. Like with all nutritional drinks, I’m always a little suspicous of how good it will taste. Especially since Zrii is an ayurvedic formulation that combines many herbs with the famous amalaki fruit.

So how did it taste? It definitely exceeded my expectations!! In fact, I think I would rate Zrii as being the best tasting health juice on the market. It has such a good flavor that it makes a person want to drink the whole bottle in one setting (I’m not kidding).

It doesn’t matter how good a juice tastes unless it actually has an impact on your system. There are many juices that are extremely healthy and taste horrible—and there are many juices that taste great and are nothing more then watered down fruit juices.

My review of Zrii was upgraded as I began to feel an effect the formulation had on me even after a few ounces of the juice. Within a few minutes my chest felt warm and my energy perked up a little. At one point my nose even began to run a little—probably from all the herbs. After about half an hour I felt really good.

In conclusion, Zrii passed my test with flying colors. It looks good, it tastes great and it has an impact on the body. What more could you ask from health juice?

With Zrii being the original amalaki drink that is backed by the world famous Chopra Center, is it any wonder that it is causing such a buzz in the industry?

The Amalaki Berry, Zrii and Your Heart Health

The amalaki berry has been central to Indian Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years because this small fruit contains an abundance of nutrients and antioxidants, and is probably the most potent source of vitamin C available.

In Ayurveda the amalaki berry is highly esteemed for its role in cleansing the blood as well as nourishing and protecting the heart. The high concentration of antioxidants in the amalaki berry are believed to combat free radicals and protect the tissues of the circulatory system by preventing damage that leads to the buildup of fatty plaques.

Modern science has recently begun to investigate amalaki in an effort to validate the traditional uses of this fruit. Researchers have found that amalaki possesses an impressive nutrient profile that includes polyphenols, amino acids, trace minerals, antioxidants, tannins, bioflavonoids, ellagic acid, gallic acid, embilicanin-polyphenols, rutin and quercetin superoxide-dismutase.

Recent studies indicate that amalaki can lower blood cholesterol levels, protect bloods vessels and reverse pre-existing damage.

According to the American Heart Association, Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) rank as America’s No. 1 killer, claiming the lives of over 36 percent of the more than 2.4 million people who die each year in the United States. This, it seems, would be good enough reason to give the amalaki berry serious consideration.

Dozens of scientific studies have demonstrated that the properties of amalaki are beneficial to the heart. Recent experiments have shown that the amalaki berry is rich in powerful antioxidants that have remarkable abilities to scavenge for free radicals. It has been documented that amalaki can reduce the levels of lipid peroxides in the blood and in the liver. This is significant in the fact that these lipids are very dangerous free radicals that cause serious damage.

Stress is a major contributing factor to the onset of heart attacks. One study found that amalaki strengthened the body’s ability to combat stress-induced free radical damage.

Several other studies support the use of amalaki as an agent to reduce elevated cholesterol levels. A recent study, published in the Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology, demonstrated that amalaki juice reduced the effects of a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet in rabbits. The juice appeared to protect the arteries and prevent the damage that normally occurs when there is an accumulation of fatty plaques. When testing the rabbits, it was also discovered that there was a decrease in the amount of existing deposits of plaque in the blood vessels. From this, the researchers concluded that the intake of amalaki juice may not only protect the blood vessels, but may also reduce pre-existing damage.

In a study conducted on laboratory mice with high blood cholesterol levels, 12 weeks of amalaki supplementation reduced the serum cholesterol of these mice significantly below the levels in the control group. The degree of atherosclerosis in the Amalaki feed rats at the end of the 12 week period was much lower in comparison to the control group. Similarly, research conducted using human subjects concluded that amalaki is able to reduce blood cholesterol levels. Interestingly, the researchers found that blood cholesterol levels began to increase shortly after the intake of amalaki was discontinued, indicating a direct correlation between the intake of amalaki and the cholesterol levels.

All these studies are validation of what has been accepted knowledge about the amalaki berry and heart health by ayurvedic practioners for centuries. If you are concerned about your heart’s health you may want to consider a daily dose of amalaki.

As an independent business person there is a need to find out which tasks/jobs are your potential.

This should be referred to as your marketing potential. In fact before she/he can be open for business the needs of marketing research is a task that needs to be accomplished. The research of before and after marketing research; “market trends of the consumer”. This will help you analyze the market potential of your ideas to create or expand on an existing market that has not reached it’s full potential to the customers you are going to capture.

Market research is not just a mystifying act of marketing. Marketing research is actually very basic. Having conversations with people who are/or might be using the product or services which your looking to expand on. What could be done to create a greater want or need for this product or service that your looking to further market. Marketing is only about the presentation of a product/service to the consumer, that fulfills a greater need or want. Finding these facts (market research) to bring this product to the end user; “the consumer”.

Unless you have taken marketing classes which few have; or have been taught how to research the market. Maybe your in need of being mentored? Bottom line your probably in need to hire someone to do the marketing for you, if you have the funds.

Depending on your financial status it might be beneficial to pay a firm to do your marketing research.

If you have noticed as I there are many articles and seminars are in Magazines, Newspapers, Radio, TV, and the Internet which are filled
with many great examples of why people should just go into into business for themselves.

If one could grasp the opportunity of being an entrepreneur any individual could be one. There are many seminars that show going into
business for yourself is a better opportunity. Doing research on these seminars prior to attending and paying the fees is very
important. “Fact or Fiction.”

No one person goes into business for yourself. Remember the old phrase: “There is no I in Team”. Your in business to create wants and needs of
other people, businesses, and organizations that have not been previously full filled.
Capturing a missing venue that other businesses have not been able to capture.

There is not just one customer, but customers. No one business can survives on just one customer. You have to believe in this to be
successful. Overturn what other supplier’s, or entrepreneur’s could not do. Then the task will be accomplished.

Look outside the Box

In the business world you must look outside the box as an entrepreneur. Looking outside the box you will notice there is opportunity every where. Even though other people see something else:
problems instead of opportunity. The discriminator will notice the difference between opportunity and failure.

The Opportunity Business Model:
Don’t over analyze your business ideas. These ideas should be able to pass a determination test; which will help to validate the opportunity. Your ideas should be able to pass a simple test: Need in the market, market ready, and the most important test is the ability to receive a proven return on your investment. Also during this market evaluation do you have the resources? Will your idea have a market place. Market demand? Do you have the labor and resources to put this idea in place before the market closes?

As an entrepreneur you need to be opportunity-focused with the customer and market. Analyzing the market structure, size, growth, capacity, market share, cost, and barriers.

Some of the all time questions to ask yourself, while evaluating your product in the market you wish to capture.
Opportunity evaluation:

What need are you filling?
Market target?
What makes your company different from existing companies?
Are there any barriers in the market?
What is your competition in the market?
What is the market size in dollars?
Is there market growth or not?
How much of the market would you capture?
Marketing strategy of the company?
Start up cost?
Will you raise investment capital or use debt capital?

With these questions in mind will your idea be profitable? How long will it take you to break even? If you do need investment capital; how much is needed to get you into the market.

Which ever direction you decide to take keep in mind that you need to develop a plan.
A written plan will give you a strategy to follow.
Having a developed structured plan will give you
a greater advantage in capturing your market share.
